What is going on with some pickup drivers in this state that they don't know the law on right-of-way? I almost got hit by a careless pickup driver this morning who pulled out of a parking lot, right into my path, while I was turning onto Michigan Avenue. He just grinned like an idiot with no clue that he was wrong. Maybe he was just selfish and figured (wrongly) he had room to pull out.
This is what the state driver manual says:
"You must stop and yield the right-of-way when entering
a highway from an alley, private road, or driveway and
before turning on a red light."
Why don't more people know this already? Geez.
